Here's what I want to do: Use two video cameras and record something from two differnt angles, preferably storing the video digitally on a computer. Then, I want to be able to sync the two angles so that I can see the subject from two angles at the same time. Also, it would be nice to be able to jump to every ten minutes while viewing the video. This probably can be done using video editing software. Any ideas?

If you're using multiple camera, shooting from multiple angles shots from two cameras are OK, but 3 angles, left, right and center shot are better. In TV production, if you shoot indoors, with proper lighting with 2 cameras or even 1.
If you shoot outdoor dual camera action like skateboarding, you can edit the action footage from the 2 cameras together. Here are links available to get started.
