Record output from idle DVI out on vid card.

I have a ATI Radeon 9700 Pro and was wondering if there are any products can record from my DVI-out (I use VGA to my CRT). I can't use a program on my own computer as it would be very resource intensive (i don't want to lag my own computer as I want to record from a video game). The preferred method would be to use my DVI out to plug into another computer that can run the capture software.

Any ideas?

You should be able to mirror your video display to the S-video out and capture through that to a VCR or another system with VIVO. Recording off the DVI input would be very difficult, as few computers are equipped with a DVI-in.
