Hey Guys,

How would I record and playback a demo for

Bioshock
World in Conflict

for dx10 benchmarking purposes.

i need to record a demo so I can have consistent playback for benchmarking on different chips

No, if you use Fraps you can record I think its 1minute on the unregistered version, as much as you want full. It records the game into a video file showing the framerate still in the corner.

i dont want to record a game video

i want to repeat actions for benchmark purposes .

ie . record a demo

Load up a G80
Playback demo
Record Results

Load up a G886
Playback demo
Record Results

Fraps just outputs an .avi file capped at 30FPS....that's not what he's looking for.

Look on fileplanet for timed demo runs....that's what I've used in the past. It's usually under "mods" for the game of your choice.
