Record button missing (grayed out) during capture - ATI TV Player - Radeon 8500DV

During composite capture using ATI's TV player, the record button is grayed making recording to MPEG impossible. Why is the button grayed out? I was able to record before and not sure what I've did to cause the button to gray out. Please help.
