Record a show from ABC

Hi
I am a big fan of the show Marvel's Agent of the Shield. I used to watch them from ABC's website.
Unfortunately I am losing track of the newest season cause I don't have a lot of time at the moment and older episodes are getting deleted from their website.
So that is why I want to know if there is any way to capture episodes from ABC.com.
So far i tried downloadhelper for FF which didn't help.

Any recommendations/solutions here?

Buy a DVR and record it as it airs.

Is the show available on hulu+? That could be an option.

Otherwise, the other options are just as shady as trying to keep the abc.com stream.

You could also find a friend who is running a Plex server and ask him/her to record and save Shield for you and post it. I do that for some of my friends without cable.

The shield is on Netflix on Hulu plus they only show some episodes. Though I don't think that they are showing the most current season on Netflix so you might have to wait till the season makes it to Netflix.
As said you could use a hard drive recorder to capture from your TV but if you want to specifically record ABC.com you can take a look at this software
Personally I couldn't wait to watch every episode at a time I guess I am more the binge watching type of guy

I'm recording Shield (sorry, can't share) with this little device and an external hard drive. A USB drive can also work if it can record fast enough. (2MB/s is about the minimum.)

Coupled with Windows Media Center(not media player!)it works very well and makes a for a great dvr on the pc to capture OTA signals.

play it at full screen and capture it with fraps.

not sure about legality but fraps will capture what's on screen.

I like the stick of bbhaag, as I understand it I don't need any other equipment to record with it no?
The most straight forward solution seems to be to capture my screen so fraps and Audials should be a good solution. I gonna test the two of them.

That is correct. All you need to do is plug the stick into a usb port let Windows install the drivers and then use Windows Media Center to record and watch OTA broadcasts.

The nice thing about the stick vs Fraps or Audials is you don't have to physically be there to record the program you want to watch. As long as your PC is on and you set WMC to record your shows it does it automatically and saves it for later viewing.
