Recoomend a wireless NIC for Win7?

Upgraded to Win7 Pro RTM last nite and now I can't seem to connect via wireless. I was currently using a D-Link 520G adapter and Win7 installed it fine (or so it says) but again, I can see my wireless network, but it won't connect. I tried updating the drivers with the Vista x64 ones, but Windows tells me its already using the most current drivers.

A call to D-Link and they say it will not work under Win7.

I also have a Linksys WMP54G adapter, but there are no x64 drivers for that, let along something for Win7.

So long story short, what adapter can I get that will be supported under Windows 7?

Thanks!
Aaron

Why you think that if you are using 32 bit OD the x64 drivers would do better (if any thing, it would make it worse)?

In any case if you see Wireless network than the card is probably OK, otherwise what is receiving the Wireless Networks that you see if the card is Not OK.

You probably do not configuring correctly Win7 Wireless.

Start with disabling temp. the security in the Router and make sure that the D-link Wireless utility and Win 7 Wireless utility are Not running together.

Thanks for the reply. I did try disabling the security, but still couldn't connnect.

As a last resort, I switched back to my old router and the new Win7 machine connected just fine. Strange. I wasn't that happy with the new Buffalo router anyway so I guess it's all good.

Hmm.. I have few Buffalo HP, and few Wireless computers with Win 7 (PCI, and miniPCI Wireless NICs), None of them has any problem connecting to the Wireless.

Unless your specific Buffalo unit is a factory "dud", you are omitting some thing in its configuration.
