SharkyGames Logitech iFeel Review

For those who aren't familiar with the mouse it is an optical mouse that programs can cause to vibrate in various ways based on what is happening on the screen. It will vibrate when you pass over something that you can click in Windows, but more important some games (e.g., Unreal Tournament, UT2003) will cause it to vibrate in various ways when you fire weapons and such.

I got one of these free from a product review I did long ago.

The iFeel is wierd....and IMHO becomes annoying in the windows environment. I will say that this item has potiental for the blind as it can be set to react different ways based on where the mouse is on the screen.....

The mouse itself is decent....tracking is acceptable except for the most quickest flicks of the wrist. It's amberdexirous as well.

But for a novelity, this is pretty fun..... I use this mouse on a secondary system at home, but do NOT have the iFeel software enabled.....

My $.02

well, this ifeel IS optical...the cordless isn't. The shaking is pretty dumb, but some people might like it for games, who knows. Otherwise this is the same as the cheapo Logitech optical mouse for 10-15 bucks normally anyway.

I got one of these for $20 at a closeout store.. I love it.. I only used the vibration software for like a day.. but without it its basically like their regular optical mouse, and is very similar to the optical mouse microsoft makes except the logitech only has one thumb button.

I see 16 on eBay at the moment. The cheapest are currently at $11 - $12 after shipping. The $11 ones have a reserve price though and so won't sell at that price.

i got one of these at big lots a while back when there was a deal for $10 or something. the vibration stuff is a joke, waste of your time to even mess with it. the motor makes the mouse quite heavy, so i just opened it up and took the motor out. still works great, and its just like a regular optical mouse now :)

I disagree. I had one for quite awhile and found it to be a very solid mouse. I only parted with it when I went wireless. I miss the little ah heck.
