recompile kernel?

Souding a bit rude there Derango, don't ya think?

mikeshn: Derango is correct, there are many sites out there that have tutorials or guides on how to recompile your kernel. Check out the PETs (Plain English Tutorials) at LinuxJunior. My friend pbharris wrote a pretty basic guide which can be found in the Compiling section of the PETs. If you'd really like to give this a shot let me know and I'll be more than happy to guide you through it. 🙂
