Hey y'all,

finally getting dsl access (stop laughing, I live in suburban hell) and don't know which router/switch to get.

Things I'd like to do: Serve Up a web site or two (personal)
Serve/play internet/network games (quake, unreal, etc)

Any suggestions other than the Linksys or Netgear?

Thanks

Although there seems to be a backlash against it, I still give a strong vote for the linksys dsl/cable router. It works great for me and it allows me to run a webserver with no problems.

I'm not a great fan of Linksys but I have to say the Linksys Router has the best options. You can forward a range of ports, there is a DMZ(pull a PC out of the firewall for videoconfercing and gamehosting), as well as a keep alive option that lets the router hold onto an assigned IP from the Cable/DSL company which is useful if you host FTPs, etc.
