Recommended tools for new build testing

I should be putting my new rig together next week. I would like to test my components before I start working on the OC for it.

What tools are recommended for testing my ssd, physical hdd, and ram.

Don't need to test RAM unless you encounter issues. If it works, it works.

What SSD and HDD do you plan to get?

I already have them. They are a Samsung EVO 500GB and a WD Black 3TB.

Samsung Magician can check your SSD's health and benchmark it.

There are of course other tools as well, third party benchmarks etc.
