Recommended thermal compound?

Pretty much as the title says. I'm kind of leery about using the kind that comes with the coolers I'm buying for my 4850 and Q6600, but I'm completely clueless about what type of thermal compound is the best. Any help?

The brand arctic silver seems to be the most effective, therefore, most popular. The only thing you have to choose is whether you use their Ceramique type or their silver type, called Arctic Silver 5. Main difference is Ceramique is non-conductive. Personally, I use the Ceramique on my cpu and gpu.
