Hi, i am choosing parts for a friend and he wants to SLi his 8800 GTS 512 MB.

I dont kwno what motherboard to pick but two main things im looking for: stable (not as buggy, doesnt need a BIOS flash or anything like that), and overclockbility.

The processor hes gettin is a e8400. Or should he get a 45 nm quad core? Mainly looking for gaming performance, thats it.

I heard the 7xx i mobos are really buggy out of the box. So that deterred me away from them.

Any recommeneded SLi mobos?

 
Sadly it does... this is a beauty of a motherboard except for this stupid nvidia chipset issues. and theydont seem to be solving it. wat i do want to know is if anyone has tried a single card Radeon 3870 solution on this and still seen video corruption.. i know it makes no sense coz sli wont be available but this board has more than just SLI to it.. its got enthusiast written all over it and for that price its incredible..
