What SATA hard drives are recommended? I have two Maxtor SATA drives, but I'm unhappy with their performance (they also sound like they are having mechanical problems).
I also see that there are 3.0 Gbps drives and 1.5 Gbps drives available in the Anandtech storage guide. How do I know which one to go with? I've got an Asus P4P800 motherboard, but I don't know which data rate it supports (perhaps it handles both).
