Recommended RAM and PSU for Q9450?

I have a Corsair 550w psu and DDR-2 800 currently. Would this be good enough for a Q9450 cpu? I have an 8800 gts video card in my system too, I don't think I will have enough power but I am not sure how much power I will need. Thanks for any suggestions.

Should probably be over in the powersupplies forum but, the 550vx should be enough to power the system even with some mild to moderate overclocking. If you want to get into heavy overclocking I would look into going to teh 620hx, that should be able to handle the heaviest overclocks or SLI.

EDIT: oh and the ram should be good enough considering you could run the processor all the way up to 1600fsb(400 quad pumped) and just then have the ram in synch with the FSB instead of it running ahead as has become the norm with DDR2 and DDR3.
