Requirements
- Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amp Amps.)
- Minimum 450 Watt for SLI mode system.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amp Amps.)
If you can afford an 8800GT, aftermarket cooling, and other quality hardware then you can afford a quality and efficient psu.

Without knowing the final specs of you rig, but taking into account you're looking at the
AnandTech budget system, I'd recommend any of the Corsair psu's since they all offer a 5 yr. warranty, extremely quiet fan, industrial caps, and of course being built by Seasonic. The VX450 can be had for as little as $70 shipped AR @ Clubit.com.

The Antec EarthWatts 500 is based on the same Seasonic platform as the VX450, but it uses lesser quality caps and only has a 3 yr. warranty. However you can occasionally find it for $50 at buy.com, Fry's, etc.
