So I've been checking my fitday logs for a while and the recommended potassium intake is 4700mg. No matter how I tweak my diet I still only get about 80% of the suggested intake. (I normally eat about 3600mg) Anybody know if my intake is ok or should I eat more foods with potassium. I've read most Americans don't eat enough K anyway.

I hear that one of the functions of potassium is water retention, so if you don't want to fill up, don't overdo it!

I got a gallon of water jug that I fill up every day in the office and make sure it's empty (or at least try to) before I leave.
