What are some good Nintendo 64 games? I'm planning on buying one from eBay (I've never owned one before), and I'd like to know what good games are available. Isn't there a Zelda for N64? And how about Mario games? You gotta have one of those...

Suggestions?
 
Paper Mario, Mario Party, Smash Bros ... DK, Harvest Moon, Zeldas. You'll probably want/need to pick up the extra memory for the N64 if you want to play some of those, though.
 
Zelda: Ocarina of Time was to console gamers what Half-Life 2 is to PC gamers. More than worth it if you're into that genre.

Mario Kart is still my favorite racing game of all time. The original Mario 64 was a good game as well.

Mortal Kombat 4 and Killer Instict Gold if you like fighting games.

And how did I forget Goldeneye? 😕 Best console FPS I ever played, and that includes Halo.
 
StarFox = weak

Banjo Kazooie & Banjo Tooie are both pretty sweet, more family-oriented RPGs. Ocarina of Time = a game I've never beaten because I haven't sat down to finish it off. I think I'm forgetting one though, and it's not Goldeneye. All the games above are pretty sweet.
 
Those all sound like great games guys! I'll be sure to pick up Zelda, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye when I get my N64.

There are some nice systems on eBay at the moment. Too bad they don't end for another day or two! 🙁

edit: btw, i see perfect dark at toysRus all the time.... $9.99 i think... and last time i went it was marked for 50% off and they had a bunch of them (Federal Way, WA TRU)
 
what was so great about golden eye?? i hated it... can anyone share some light as to why u guys liked it???
 
Super Smash Bros. (Still playing it to this day. I love this game.)
The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (Very easy, but practically defines fun.)
Goldeneye (Best possible FPS on the technology of the time, bar none)
Blast Corps (I can't believe nobody else recommended this. Best puzzle game ever.)
Mario 64 (Great fun while it lasts.)

Awesome, but aggrivating.

Diddy Kong Racing can be fun, but it's short lived. Get that if you can pick it up for really cheap.
