Hi ATOT,

Do you guys recommend any specific insurance carrier for motorcycles? Passing the MSF ridercourse is supposed to get me insurance discounts, but I need insurance already. Thanks :)

Dairyland is usually the cheapest. try them first. You can probably negotiate a discount if you insure through the company that insures your car and/or house as well.

Beware the last suggestion. I was an idiot and paid 5 times what Progressive charged when in MA.

Certainly worth investigating, but often packages are not the best way to go.

:)

I ride in Seoul, Korea and pay about $520 a year for full coverage on my paid for '03 SuperGlide." I have full coverage because I don't trust the other 15 million Seoul residents. Liability would only be about $80 a year for me. I am insured thru USAA. Other inexpensive policies are offered thru AIG... I have been riding for over 25 years and have a pretty decent record.

And yes...I've been through the MSF course 3 times.
