Recently I have begun running the latest Camera Raw, and I have found that rendering/response time is much slow that with older versions. My graphics card is NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, and I have 64 Gigs of system memory in a Win10 64 system. Some of my work uses very large files from a Fujifilm 100 (100 mp). I realize that my card is too slow for this kind of processing. At the same time I don't want to spend a fortune on a fancy card that is needed for gaming. So I wonder if some members can recommend a card that would speed up my Camera Raw processing a lot without breaking the bank.
Thanks in advance, Mike

When I upgraded my laptop from a GTX to RTX the system was considerably quicker for any rendering. Most of my use though is converting TS files to MP4 for OTA recordings.

I wouldn't go top end with RTX 4 but upgrading to RTX 3 should be significant from where you are with GTX right now. For me my target was the 3060 for price/performance. On a desktop card you'll get more RAM than the laptop version which should help.

Looks like a 3060 / 12GB is only ~$300. Since gaming isn't a goal Intel A770 / 16GB could be a great option as well in the same price range.
