I'm lost, I've been to CDW and they seem to be an HP/Compaq outlet. I've been to Dell and I get so confused with all the pricing, that seems to be inconsistant. For example I can upgrade a lower end server and it'll cost more than the same system configured from a higher model.
I've been to and called a few PC shops near my home and they seem to be lost, they are reviewing adds and prices that say, Prices good till 6/30/2003, geeze, it's nearly 7/30! Their web sites are out of date as well.
Anyway, I am looking for a Mother Board that has the following features:
- Dual AMD Athlon, speed is not important, 1.8 or better
- Best FSB for package, the hightest is not important
- IDE DMA 133, min Raid 0
- Onboard Dual NIC, min 1GB on one port, or none and I'll add a card
- Onboard Video digital out or I'll add a card that has it
- Onboard sound minimal requirement
- No overclocking requirements
- The MB should be compatible with Windows Adv. Server and MSSQL database
Please add items that you feel would benefit this system
