Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4 GHz LGA 775 $315
BFG 8800 GTS 320MB Graphic Cards $330
Thermaltake Armor Case $150
Western Digital Caviar 250GB Hard Drives $75
Lite-On DVD Burners $30
OCZ GameXSteam Power Supply 700W $150

What is a good motherboard and memory (2GB) combination that are compatible each other. I keep reading on NewEgg Reviews that this motherboard won't work with this memory. Is there a way to find out what memory is compatible with each motherboard?? Also is it worth spending the extra memory for raptor hard drives? Are there any better cases and power supplies for the price?

Thanks

Motherboard: Gigabyte DS3 or Biostar TForce965
Memory: Value RAM (Kingston, Super Talent, Wintec...check Hot Deals forum)
Raptors: Not worth it.

Agree with jpeyton. And I'd get this over the BFG...

Id go with Evga personally.

I like both eVGA and XFX. But an OC'd card at $300 - $20 MIR shipped free, and a free copy of COD2, that's tough to beat. :D

Good price Minus the old game. Its a great game though.

EDIT: Could of sworn that EVGA came with Dark Messiah : Might and Magic

It does on newegg.

As for the OP, I'd suggest saving some money by going with a 6400 -$100 and getting some decent OC ram. +$60. You can easily OC that to hit 3ghz. For the PSU, the one you picked would do fine, although something less would be more than enough. For my rig i got the Corsair 520HX, which is going to be followed by components very similar to what you are getting.
