recommendations on hdtv tuners/pvrs?

does anyone have experience with these? how easy are they to use, and hows the video quality? which would you all recommend?

it depends on what you are looking for. OTA (over the air) is pretty easy and there are a lot of choices (most if not all of which work with windows mce). If you want to recieve hdtv cable signals on your pc it gets complicated. THere are two cards that I know of and they both only work with unencrypted channles (generaly all but hbo/stars... but it depends on your provider) of the two I beleive myhd is slightly better then the fusion cards but neither are as user friendly as a strait ota card (though both work as ota and I beleive both work with media center as ota). If you cable provider offers a box with a firewire output then you can download software which will let you record over firewire (and even record with mce over firewire as long as you have 1 analog tuner connected through svideo to the same cable box).
