Recommendations on good places to purchase laptops online

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on online places where I can purchase a laptop. I only know of Newegg. Not that I have a problem with Newegg, but I figure I should check other places.

edit: you should research the laptop that fits your needs, then find that laptop online
not the other way around
Sorry, I should have further clarified. I wanted to see if there were other online retailers (such as Newegg or Buy.com) where I can purchase a laptop from. I've never been a fan of buying directly from the manufacturer, always seems to be more expensive for some reason. With that being said, in case you wanted to know what I was looking for:

~14.1" screen (not really considering a 15" or greater)
Decent video card GeForce Go 7400 or ATI x1400 or greater
Core 2 Duo
1GB memory

I've never considered a Mac, as they are so expensive, but maybe I'll reconsider.

I looked at Buy.com, something doesn't seem right with their selection. I'll give it another shot.

How much do you want to spend? The Asus V2 would fit all of those specs (it has an X1450). http://www.proportable.com/detail.aspx?ID=201

There is also the Asus A8Js http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220137 , but some people feel it isn't that great because of the build quality (A and F series notebooks from Asus are the "value" line while the V and W series are the better quality line).

Wow, that Asus V2 looks very nice. I didn't really have a price limit, but $1800 seems like it's a bit more than I was hoping to spend. However, I see that PROPortable has pretty nice Reseller Ratings 🙂

Also, thanks for the heads up on the Asus A line. The A8Js was one of my top possibilities. I'll keep in mind that it is the "value" line. Build quality is important to me as well.

X1450? There's been a lot of renaming lately, is that an improved/shrunk x1400 or just some weird rebadging?

From what I hear, the X1600 -> X1700 was the same process size, but they used strained silicon instead to make it more efficient. Probably something similar happened between the X1400->X1450.
