Recommendations on bluetooth earbuds?

Anyone have any recommendations on some bluetooth earbuds that are pretty good? I'm looking to spend like $50 max for a decent pair. I know they can get more than that but I'm not really looking to spend more than that at this point ... MAYBE a little bit more but not much.

I'm looking for the kind of earbuds that have the 'noise cancelling' type of earbuds that kind of 'plug' into your ear. Not looking for any with a microphone on them either, this is strictly for listening to stuff. I would also prefer them to be connected by wire and not a hard piece of plastic around them that can't be put into my pocket.

I am going to be pairing this with an iPhone so ones that have known issues with that phone I'd like to steer clear of. Thanks.

I have that exact same set and they work very well, when they work. The problem is my phone (iP4) will sometimes not recognize them when I turn them on unless I cycle power on the phone or go through the pairing process. It may be my phone, or the set, but none of my other BT devices have that problem.

The ones in the OP seem kind of bulky and clumsy. I mean do you really have to wear that crap around your neck at all times? I know you need a battery and such, but damn that would be awkward.

I bought these. Pretty satisfied so far. Have used them snowboarding, hiking, and running.

I run around 10 - 15 miles a week in these. They have worked great so far. Have been using them since december (got them as a christmas gift). I used to have a couple of issues with the sound cutting out for like 1/8 of a second every 30 mins or so. To fix that, I started strapping my iphone on the right side of my waist (the bluetooth thing is on the right headphone i believe).

Works perfectly, and it has all the controls (volume up, down, forward, back, pause, answer call) right on the headphone. Even works switching songs while I stream pandora and also use the Nike GPS+ app.

While $89 is a little higher than your budget, i think I have seen knock offs around the $50 range. They look exactly alike.

It really depends on your device, but my Samsung Mesmerize's battery life isn't really all that different whether I'm listening to music through my bluetooth headphones all day or just wired if I don't mess with it too much. If I start using the internet or just have the screen on for long time the battery life is a bit weaker with bluetooth going.

My iPod touch, on the other hand, got terrible battery life while playing through bluetooth. It would easily last 12 hours+ playing music wired, but with bluetooth, i'd be lucky to get 6 hours out of it.

I have a pair of Motorola S805's, and I really like them. I don't think they're being made anymore because I can't find them at a whole lot of places, and the prices are pretty high (I paid $50 for mine almost a year ago, and they're going for ~$100 now). I got them mainly because the battery life was MUCH better than any other pair I could find. The rated life is 17 hours, and I think that's pretty accurate. Most others had 8 hours or less, which I didn't want because I want to use them for a full 8 hour work day. I can use them for two 8 hour work days without charging and they don't have any problems. The only issue that I have with them is that they are too hot to wear at work in the summer time. I'm going to have to look for another pair with good battery life that doesn't act like a pair of ear warmers for summer time.

Those are the ones that are on my wishlist, but there are three problems.

1. Its expensive
2. Battery life is poor
3. Its expensive

Jabra BT3030. I have used it for years, and I'm happy with the form factor, sound quality, and capabilities.

Not that expensive. Although that is relative.
Battery life isn't too bad. I haven't checked but if they can be charged using a usb port then that'll work for me.
