Recommendations on a mid-level intel board?

Anyone have any recommendations on a mid-level (relative) Intel mobo?

Planning on getting a P4 2.4.

Should I get 400 mhz front side bus or better?

Price is a factor, I'm thinking around $125-$150.

Need to reuse a DDR 3200 512 stick.

Thanks

Well, considering your budget, you can get some good boards. I believe that the Abit IC7 is still a good choice, or a IS7 model will save you some money. You probably want a cpu that runs at 800MHz FSB (200MHz * 4.) Seeing that you want to reuse the 3200, you can get a 2.4C, however the memory may limit your overclocking and performance. You could do some overclocking on a 2.4B that runs 533MHz FSB (133 * 4,) though they are not as popular and don't perform as well and the C models. I haven't followed intel as closely as some, so wait for some other opinions. HTH. Peace.

JS, thanks for the heads up. I'll look into those boards. I'm just having so many problems with my EPOX EP8RDA+. I have an ATI Radeon 32 SDR video card that may be the culprit. Don't know.

Plus my box is so damn loud due to all the cooling needed.

I'm just thinking it'd be easier to just go Intel.

Hmm......

I would highly recommend the Asus P4P800-E Deluxe (865PE chipset) And a 2.4C. Dont worry you might as well get a C cause its more furture proof and you should be able to OC decently.
