Recommendations on a Lcd Monitor

I am looking at LCD Monitors finally I really need to figure out whether to go regular or widescreen. Also for the price i have checked and i think 19" is the best. I am looking around $200. I found the hanns 19" widescreen at microcenter for $200 and it looks ok any other recomendations. or any arguements why i should not get widescreen?

Personally, I wouldn't go widescreen unless it's at least 20" on 1680x1050 resolution. But that's just me. I say, you should test it out @ Microcenter and see if you're comfortable with the monitor before shelling out the dough. Everyone has different monitor preferences.

I would definetly consider a 20'' widescreen but your gonna run into budget problems if your looking under $200. Newegg has some really sweet deals on the 19'' lcds. You might want to check out ****** for ongoing sales etc. Happy hunting

I forgot to add that if you want a Westinghouse 20.1 flat screen from Best Buy you can get it for about $200 because of the back to school coupon deal that they have. Look for the thread about the 30% coupons at best buy. If you want one I got some left"
