Recommendations on a good modem dial up ISP????

Can anybody recommend a good dial up internet service provider for a 56k modem?? I am from bay area in california.

I'm in the Bayarea too...when i had a 56 k modem, my isp was Pacific Bell...hardly any problems

I'll definately say a resounding NO to AOL. But earthlink is definately at the top of my list, especially when I just found out they merged with Mindspring, last year.

it was my provider before dsl and cable..

and they have never given me a busy signal..

surprisingly, AT&T Worldnet service was rated the top best by PCWorld and also by another third party website.

Sega.Net, hands down best dialup ISP you will find. It costs more(21.95), but it is definitly worth it, especially if you play games. My ping is usually between 150-200.
