I am building a second computer for the kids. I have all the parts from my old computer prior to its upgrade (core2duo, 8800 GTS, 4GB DDR2, 80 GB Intel SSD, new 620W Corsair PSU). They will primarily use it to play games. They are all young, so gaming does not include latest FPS (Minecraft, Battle for Middle Earth, C&C 3, etc.).
I currently have a 1080P Asus VE276 27-inch LCD on my main computer which I will use for the second computer I am building. For the main computer running Win8, I am looking for a new 27-inch touch screen monitor. I have read a number of reviews, but am having difficulty narrowing it down. I don't need resolution higher than 1080P, this Asus has been great, but I would like to stick to 27 inches without breaking the bank if I can. In a few years time, I believe all LCDs will be touchscreen, so I think it is wise to get one now if I need a second LCD.
Any recommendations on a 27-inch touch screen?
