Recommendations on 24-26" LCD

I bought a LG w2600h and this damn thing has some of the worst color banding i've ever seen. I missed best buy's return policy time so i'm getting rid of it on ebay. Anyone recommend an LCD that i can use for gaming and photo editing that does NOT have color banding and has a good contrast ratio. I also want to make sure it doesn't use that pixel dance dithering method, that drives my eyes nuts on gradients where you see pixels shifting colors fast, it gives it a nasty sparkle look.

I actually have a 22" westinghouse that has no banding at all and no dithering sparkles but i want bigger.

If you can afford it AND find it, the 26" Doublesight is an amazing monitor.

The doublesight looks interesting, but it's out of stock EVERYWHERE that i've looked. Those NEC's are nice but way more than i wanna spend on a gaming/editing monitor. This isn't mission critical, but color banding drives me NUTS.

The only concern i have about the doublesight is the contrast ratio, it seems a little low.

The only thing that could make the NEC2690wuxi any better for me would be if it had more inputs. I miss watching TV and surfing the net from my ol' 20wmgx2
