I'm getting reamed by MCI on some stupid LD plan I have. Any good suggestions for LD service in NJ?

Fellow Jerseyan here...

Would you consider a pre-paid LD plan?? If so, might I suggest Bigzoo. :)

~EDIT~
I've been using it for a year and a half and have had zero problems with it. It costs 2.9 cents a minute if there's a local access number in your exchange, 3.9 cents/min if you use their toll-free access, and a monthly whopping $.75 monthly fee. The site also has a new feature where you can enter the phone numbers you call from and then no longer have to enter your PIN. You just call 1 number and it asks you to enter the number you would like to reach. Very cool.

Dump them to get rid of the monthly charge of not even using them, then use onesuite.com.
Program a button on your phone, and it's like 2.9 cents a minute.

i use 10-10-811. minimum of $.50 a call, and .05 a minute. instate or outstate. (basically all youhave to do is talk for ten minutes and that is your .50, it isn't a surcharge.) so a 20 min call would cost me $1.00. $3.00 an hour. don't know if that is what you are looking for...but i have used it for over 3 years and has always worked fine for me.

With my Sprint PCS cell phone I get home long distance from Sprint for 7 cents a minute, no monthly fee, and 50 free minutes a month. But you have to pay 40 a month for the cell phone to get that.

I know they suck, but in mid april Verizon will offer Long Distance in NJ. I'm gonna go w/ them, just for the convenience of having a simplified bill. also their rates are competitive.

I've been screwed by AT&T on more than one occasion. i will never use them again. MCI ehhh. Sprint, ehh. it's not like we have GREAT choices out there.

Another vote for bigzoo, I've used them for quite a while. Especially with all their new dial-in numbers, they are convenient & cheap.
