i got a Athlon XP 3200+ not so long ago, and got a cooler master jet 7 to go on it. I know i did a good job putting the paste on (arctic silver 5). it started off running at about 44-45 degrees, sometimes hitting 50 on full load, but fine generally. now it's almost constantly on 50, and 55 on load, it just keeps getting hotter and hotter. I have no dust problems, i clean it out regularly, i didn't move it to beside a radiator or something either, anyone know if arctic silver 5 goes crap after installation? i have the fan on full speed the whole time. not overclocked btw, msi k7n2 delta ilsr mobo

If the rig is stable, then it's fine. ;)

You may need to re-apply the AS5. It can't hurt.

Maybe your ambient room temps have gone up? I know here in MN it's starting to cool down, and we are running the heat at night a little now.

You could also try slapping in another case intake or exhaust to help with the airflow. Assuming you don't have good enough airflow already.

I last did an AS5 job on my cpu about 6 months ago. Cooloing seems to have gotten better, not worse.

What are your sys temps?

in my opinion i have pretty good airflow, 2 80mm fans at the front bottom, 1 120mm fan at the back top, and the PSU has an intake fan inside, there's also a fan on the side window, although i still haven't figured out if it's blowing in or taking out
