Is anyone familiar with the Crumpler brand. Their bags seem really cool and the few reviews around praise them highly. I just got a Whickey and Cox off ebay which would arrive tomorrow. In any case what are you all toting your gear in ?

Woot, it came in !!! Man what a sweet bag. Fits 2 camera bodies easily and at least 1-2 zooms plus ~3 50mm sized lenses with accessories (filters cords batteries charger etc.).
Will post review and pics soon.

You'll have a better understanding of the name if you vist their site:

Their size index is a naked chick wearing all their bags. They've got bags called the nad sac, wonder weenie, etc... check out their catalog it's pretty funny. Their tube-o-lager serve as coozies or lens cases. Their stuff has to been seen to be understood, it's beyond my explaining it.

YIPES. Nevermind, I'll stick with my Samsonite case :D Holds my D70 and Kit Lense + extra batteries, cleaning kit, filters, USB cables and lens hood.

I just need a slightly larger case to be able to hold my Sigma 70-300

Build quality of the pack is the best i've seen. I haven't tested how water resistant it is, but I am confident it will hold up very well espcially since water would have to make it through the outer pack and the camera shell to do damage.

All the compartments in the camera shell are movable. They are velcro attached (very securely) to the inside and can be removed/moved. The entire camera shell velcro's in and out. It fits all my gear:
D70 w/ nikon 70-300G zoom
nikon 18-70 ED Dx
nikkor 50mm 1.4 AIS with 2 macro extension rings
nikkor 55mm 2.8 macro
nikkor 55mm 3.5 macro
nikkor 24mm 2.8 AIS
Canon s50
Chargers, Power cables, usb cables, filters, ipod, heaphones and laptop.

I first heard of them here:

http://www.asvd07.dsl.pipex.com/d70bags.htm

but yeah, they've been compared favorably against the lowepro stuff, I'll have to go by a wolf's or something and see for myself. I've got an abs camcorder case that i've been using and will use if i need a hardshell but I liked that the bag was dual purpose with the removal of the camera shell.
