Recommendations for a sound system

Hey guys... I have been using these Altec Lansing speakers with subs for about 4 years now. As of today, it died on me. Does anyone have any suggestions on what model or brand of speakers I should replace them with.

I plan to listen to music and watch movies. My price range is $100.

get the Logitech uhhh ummm.. z-560's? I think that's the model, they are 99 bucks and sound killer, imo the best in that price range. Not the best for music, the highs are a little weak. But the best sounding overall system I have heard for sub 100 bucks. But don't take my word for it, put that in a search engine and find reviews. Even the 540's, which can be found for 60 or 70 are KILLER. Logitech knows how to make good products.
