Requirements:

Fits in a 3.5" bay, SDHC, microSDHC .. and extra USB 2.0 port would be nice too.

I had a Rosewill something that was horrible. Sometimes it worked, then once I inserted a different SD card, the unit would loose power like it was unplugged from the mobo.

Yes, I'm on my second Rosewill card reader, the wires pulled out of the USB plug on my first one. I looked at the reviews on NE for an alternative and the other readers (Nippon Labs and a handfull of 1-each others) had about the same problems.

Ive been using this one for almost 4 years now with no problems http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820223103
Your linked redirected me to some other site with very poor WOT rating. From what I could tell, you linked a Rosewill RCR-IC001 40-in-1 USB 2.0 3.5" Internal Card Reader.

It looks almost exactly like the one I RMA'd defective .. and from the looks of it 248 people had the same problem as I did. Not going get it, as the S&H to me & back to NE would not be worth it if it died.

It linked me to newegg. Maybe you need to clear you cache. As for card readers, I can find 248 people that had problems with any brand. Find one in your price range and get it. Just make sure the store youre buying from has a good return policy. Newegg is ok but they make you pay return shipping

I dont know what it is .. but everyones links here have redirect.anandtech.com to some other site .. which then redirects you to Newegg.

your $9 link is this - http://redirect.anandtech.com/r?url...duct.aspx?Item=N82E16820283012&user=u00000687

which gets transformed to this - http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-333216...com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208470

Both of those links do not load, because WOT has a RED rating on them.

I do not want a USB card reader .. I have one, a very good one .. I want to eliminate it and use an empty spot in the 3.5" bay.

Hmmm... my clicks go straight to the Newegg product.

I would just pick one of the card readers and go with it. My 2nd Rosewill seems to be behaving itself, and it was only $12 or so.
