Recommendations for a pre-built gaming PC for $600-700

Looking to get back into playing some games. Haven't been following this stuff in years as i was busy with work and some other stuff. I wanna eventually get back to building my own PC but I wanted something to pick up something right now. On a side note, I joined Anandtech about 10 yrs ago needing help building my first PC and asking for recommendations 🙂

I see your budget, and that you're in the USA. Please answer the rest of [thread=80121]these questions[/thread]. Including question "10" about OS.

And would you be interested in going to the Philadelphia Micro Center?

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Games primarily. Will also use it for some citrix to access electronic medical records.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
600-700 US dollars

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
US - would prefer to buy pre-built

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
no brand preference

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
no current parts to use

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
default

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
1280x1020

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.
want to buy now

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
will need windows

And yes, I can definitely make a trip to the Philly microcenter but I am not there now. I work in southern Virginia so I'd prefer to order something online if possible. Thanks guys!

You won't be hitting 60FPS on High with a 750 Ti in any new title at 1080p. $700 will get you a sputtery medium at best. A 960 is a rubbish proposition sunk further by a lack of VRAM.

wont be needing extra VRAM, 2GB might be sufficient as OP's monitor resolution is only 1280x1020 🙂

What does the link in your answer have to do with anything?
