Linkage to Syba on Newegg. Or if you want one from a bigger name, you can get pretty much the same card with the LSI name on it for about twice as much... Newegg carries the LSI as well (OOS right now). IAC, the Silicon Image chipset is the most flexible around and you can get it on many brands of cards - newegg used to have the same card in the Link Depot brand and has it under Koutech too (but I'm wary of Koutech from personal experience as a tech in a computer store that sold them).

Actually the Syba and the Koutech are probably made in the same factory but I would still get the Syba instead... If the LSI didn't cost nearly as much as a whole new mobo, I'd consider going that route - I don't know how LSI justifies that price on a Chinese made card - it must be the two nice cables...
. I haven't done a thorough search for all possible brands with Silicon Image logic. Perhaps there are some better brands at an intermediate price point. The one Syba RAID card I've used is working just fine for nearly a year now. Don't forget to drop by the SI web site and grab the latest drivers prior to install.
