Looking for motherboard and case recommendations for a dual Xeon 3.06GHz system.
Requirements: ATX and must have on-board LAN, AGP Pro, USB and IEEE 1394/Firewire and SATA RAID. Overclocking not necessary.
Case: Must have GREAT cooling and more than enough power to run the dualie and 4 hard drives etc.

Anything else to look out for, let me know. Thanks.

SUPER X5DAL-TG2 (MBD-X5DAL-TG2-O)

This board has everything on your list with the exception of 1394. The 7505 is a good chipset.

Don't skimp on the power supply! A 450W ATX-EPS model is REQUIRED. 550W+ is recommended, especially for 3+ GHz Xeons.

Lian Li makes a nice case for this. Since this is standard ATX, the Antec SOHO Performance case will do nicely. Order without PS if possible as you will need an EPS version. Antec True550 EPS is a good PS. PC Power and Cooling make nice (albeit costly) power supplies as well.

Cool. Thanks my friend.
Do the PCI 66mhz slots support the 33mhz cards? I will end up using all 3 PCI slots since I will be adding a soundcard, an mpeg video capture board as well as that firewire adapter...

Yes the PCI-X slots will accomodate 32/33 MHz PCI cards. Just make sure they are 3.3 volt. Check along the edge connector. If it has two notches, it is 3.3 volts.
