Recommendations for a budget Pocket PC for my dad's xmas gift?

I'd like to get my father a Pocket PC for Xmas. He has an Old Palm that he uses to keep track of appointments, his business contacts, basically an organizational tool but has been complaining about the black on green screen (hard for him to see) so I'd like to get him something with a color screen. I don't need anything fancy like wi-fi or bluetooth but I don't want to get him a piece of crap either. Can someone recommend some Pocket PC options with a color screen, at least an I/O or CF slot, and has the Windows Pocket OS (2002 or 2003). Thanks!

oh yeah, preferably under $250 if possible.

why make him switch to the pocket pc's?
The tungsten line is fairly reasonably priced, color screen, and I'm sure he'd be very happy with it.

Its like buying a chevy truck owner and ford. Who cares what you like, its up to what they like.

hahaha..this made me laugh. Just to put you at ease, I showed my dad my Dell Axim X5 and he couldn't put it down. He was like can it to this? can it do that? So I think he'll like the Pocket PC.

the X3 is only $229 and is my choice. I have the 400mhz version and love it.

Another AT'er just bought that with 256MB SD for $229 with free shipping, I think they'll be very happy with their purchase 🙂
