i've acquired a new Intel 955 based board with a Dual core 3.2 EE setup... but no CPU fan

what fans will fit the newer boards with the huge heatsinks on teh northbridge chip?

Yeh...I am also looking for Case and cooling fan for my Intel Retail edge combo (Intel D + 933 motherboard). I am not going to load but 2 dvd-RW,2-3 HD, 2Gb memory, and I/O..

I've built several like that in p180 cases, 830cpu, stock intel heatsink/fan, hdrives in lower section, passive vid card, gigabyte 855 boards.
Running 2 instances of cpuburn, they got to 57C and idled at 43C. I think that is pretty good for the stock cooler, but I attribute it all to the 180 case. It really seems to exhaust all the heat thru and out of the case.
I set them up with the top fan moved to the front upper intake and the top exhaust sealed off.
If you want a better cooler, I've used zalman 7700cu on prescotts with good success, but in the p180 case the stock setup was good enough.

right now i have a Sonata case with my P4 3.4 and it benches around 69-70C when hot... and that's WITH a Zalman 7000Cu - hopefully the P180 will be good to me!

I miss working at Best Buy, but more specifically the Retail Edge package.
