recommendations for a 802.11n range extender?

Century Link gave me a Zyxel c1100z modem when I upgraded 🙁 anywho Its a step up from what I had even though its 300 Mbps 802.11n.

I need to extend my range to the shop and im unable to run cable for access point. Everything im seeing recommended is ac. Is there a good 300n range extender or should I buy a ac range extender?
