Recommendations 5.25" bay system coolers

Any recommendations before I buy a 5.25" Bay System Cooler ?
Something quiet prefered.
Or buying one then replacing the fan with a better ?

You mean a fan that goes in your drive bays? As far as I know, Scythe is the only one that makes one, it's called the Scythe Kama.

Scythe Kama Bay takes up 3 bays. There are also 4-in-3 modules that hold four 3.5" hard drives in three 5.25" bays while cooling them off with a 120mm fan.

Lian Li makes a couple different ones, one with 80 mm fan, one with 120 mm fan. I have the EX-23 with 80 mm fan. The fan is a little whiny, but I put a Fanmate on and it's pretty quiet- keeps my HD's ~36-38 C.

The EX23 takes up 2 5.25 bays, while the EX33 takes up 3. Both are available in black and silver.

EX23 with 80 mm fan

EX33 with 120 mm fan

They work great if you have the room in your case.

Forgot to ask, are you looking just for a fan mount, or something to cool your hard drives?

I have two ex23's and they are very quiet but also move whery little air.

Fan mount. Currently using a p180 case with the hd's dumped in the bottom.
