Recommendation on a drawing tablet?

Looking for something I can sketch on and the pen acts as a mouse so I have more control doing freehand drawing then I would with just drawing with a mouse.

A side note... not sure if it matters, but I am left handed.

Not looking to spend a whole lot of money... although I am unsure the price range this type of stuff goes for.

All suggestions appreciated 🙂
 
Check out the Graphire 3 from Wacom. Very good, very reliable. Don't even consider those cheapie Aiptek pads sold @ CompUSA. The Aiptek pads are horrible - bad quality, not accurate, etc.

you're only going to find a cheap graphics tab in the wacom graphire, which is 6x4.. anything more than that starts to get expensive (~$300)
