Hi all,

I am looking for a solution for a HD PVR and I am thinking about building a computer box running Windows Vista Ultimate with Windows media center.

I need to know if there exist a HD TV Tuner Video card with DVI or HDMI output. I would think it would be most probaby a DVI output and I would have to purchase a DVI > HDMI converter.

However, I do want a tuner that would support HD and hopefully one that have a QAM tuner in it to receive over the air HD.

A Windows Media Center remote control package would also be nice.

Any recommendation for such card? It would also be nice if it is a robust enough to run the windows Aero function.

BTW, I do have comcast HD-DVR and Tivo Series 2. Comcast box sux & upgrading to Tivo series 3 is not an option at the moment.

TIA

fairly soon there will be mce machines available with cable card based tuners (you wont be able to buy the tuner separately at least at the beginning), outside of that fusion and myhd both make pretty good qam cards (you would use your graphics cardf or dvi/hdmi out, not the tuner itself, though myhd has a dvi daughter card available for pass through).
