Recommendation for Video board for new machine

I'm building a I7-920 CPU-based machine on an ASUS P6T SE Motherboard. Would appreciate suggestions as to what video boards to consider. Machine is to be overclocked and used for games mostly. I prefer NVidia boards but if ATI or others offer better performance please let me know.
