lol! I know you meant 1000RPM, not 10,000RPM, but heh heh.....
The ultimate right now, not counting oddities like Bosch and Asea, is the Whirlpool Duet set on pedestals. Gets 'em up where it's easy to reach in, and those washers really do kick ass. They're a heavy mutha, tho.....I've installed lots of them.
For a 'normal' washer, I'd get the best Whirlpool you can afford.
And as far as front-loading goes, Fisher-Paykel is coming out with a top-load dryer.....put that in your bowl and smoke it!
