If you would be so kind as to recommend a good, stable, quality MB, with both Firewire and USB2.0 ports.
Or at least only USB 2.0 ports, if no Firewire ports.
And will also have 2 or 3 - PC133 ram slots, possibly or hopefully in addition to other DDR ram slots. The CPU to be put in it would be an AMD 1.2g, which I assume that newer boards would accept as backwards compatible, but there may be a concern with clock multiplier frequency with newer boards.
I would be using a separate, but a bit older, 8mb Matrox Millennium 200 AGP video card and SB sound card, and SCSI card - so these need not be built in. ATX format and with maximum number of slots, if possible. Not a stripped down board.
The board does not have to be an overclockers dream, or the newest and greatest. But an old tried and true board that is solid and not likely to be in need of driver upgrading next week. It does not have to be a budget priced board, but from a quality manufacturer and stable.
I appreciate your help.
