Recommendation for Flow Chart program?

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a flow chart program (shareware, freeware, pay) that is good for making decision flows, software flows, etc. That I can then import into word or libreoffice via embedded program or jpg?

Prefer this to be in windows, but will use linux also.

every company that i've ever been to uses visio, so might as well learn now.

Unfortunately, there aren't really any good freeware flow charting programs (which is truly mind-boggling). Like Ns1 said, Visio or Bust.

I love Visio. Don't know why, but it is an awesome program to use.

My favorite feature is creating a database connection and having it map out the entire database structure. Can't remember if that was a plug-in or what, but it was awesome.
