Recommendation for an UPS unit?

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a UPS for my system. I'm really green in this area and I'm hoping that someone could enlighten me on which model/brand of UPS to purchase. Some criterias for the UPS:

  • 10-15 minute of battery backup time
  • Ability to support modem as well
  • Around 4-5 sockets

I'm torn between PK and APC. Not sure about other brands. BTW, is it advisable to have one UPS to serve 2 computers with printers?

I've got two APC's and they have never failed me. One is a 450 which runs two computers with monitors for about 5 min, thats after i've had it for like 3 years. My other one is a Smart UPS 1000 cost me about 600$, which last for a hell of a long time, but I don't really need all that run time. It will run all of my desk with two computers and one monitro, scanner, printer, light, and all that other stuff for about 45min - 1hour.
