Recommendation for all in one laser printer, scanner and copier

Im in search of a good all in one machine for around $300. I dont even what brand or what functions i should be looking for.

can someone please recommend me a model and features i should be looking for.

Oh, well, maybe the Brother MFC-4800 fills that part as well.
