Recommendation for a projector

I've never really dealt with projectors much before, but a school near me has contacted me to provide them with a quote for one. Basically they are going to use it in their AV Room to show informative videos and class presentations etc.

I'm in the hunt for something that is within about a $1500 budget maximum that would be sufficient for their needs.

Recommendations are welcome!

Get XVGA resolution (1024x768). You can get VGA projectors for less money, but then you will have wasted your money! Also, for a classroom, get at least 1000 lumens.
